Welcome to Shirley Life, a website and online magazine launched for us,  residents of Shirley.

Our website has evolved since we started and so has the magazine which is now read each month by over four thousand people Croydon wide.

We love Shirley and we care about our environment but we also have a mind of our own and scrutinise what is around us. We ask questions and want value for money from our Council. Our magazine is eclectic and covers different aspects of life.

Shirley Life – a non-profit publication – aims to inform Shirley Residents about local matters and events, and to promote Shirley businesses.

The Notice Board will keep Residents abreast of the latest events and happenings in and around Shirley.

Residents can exchange ideas and make comments and suggestions in the Forum. Discussion and exchange of views will be welcomed; disagreements and controversy can be expected and are healthy in any community; inappropriate or offensive statements will be moderated. You only need to register if you wish to interact in the Forum. We urge you to use it: it is a great pity that it is not used more.

Residents are welcome to submit their pictures in jpg format to be considered for inclusion in the Gallery.

The magazine is uploaded around the middle of each month.
